Electric Vespa
Among the technological innovations that have changed people's lives, in the world of transport and now also in the tourism sector, we find Vespa. Even before being electric, Vespa represented more than Made in Italy excellence, it was a vehicle for women's emancipation and a tool for comfortable mobility in the city.
Technological innovation
The electric Vespa is silent even at maximum power (it can be ridden in two distinct modes), has a strong personality, in line with its ancestors, and performs better than a traditional scooter. Its range is 100 km, thanks in part to the use of the Piaggio brushless motor with KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) energy recovery system. The battery is fully recharged in 4 hours. Its CO2 emissions are 0 g/km.
Our Electric Vespa
In synergy with Piaggio's engineering team, our staff worked for 6 months on a "disruptive" solution for vehicle rental. We integrated an innovative system into the front of the Vespa that would allow the vehicle to be switched on and off from the App (i.e. remotely controlled). We tested the dialogue between the Vespa and other devices on a prototype, and then applied the necessary changes to the entire fleet.

Today, renting a Vespa through e-dway is simple and intuitive, but above all it can be done quickly in a totally autonomous manner, simply by clicking a button on an App. The command given by the device is received by our internal platform, which, after a few routine checks, accepts the rental and starts the engine, after a real exchange of information between objects.
